FanFest 2003

The Story!  It happened at FanFest 2003 and this is in the words of the person that owns the coke can!

Zoe (Coates) What a riot and a good sport! There was a fun part of the auction where Zoe actually "sold" the shirt of Jade's back (his own personal shirt) which garnered like 300 bucks for Charity. Anyway, we (my friend and I) were sitting kinda behind the spot where earlier Zoe had been signing autographs. We had (my hotel mates and I) offered both Karri and Zoe a drink from our stash (we had water, Coke, Dr. Pepper, Diet Pepsi and Mountain Dew)....Karri opted for a bottle of water, Zoe a coke.

After the Jade incident, Lazy and I were laughing and stating that we should take Zoe's empty Coke can and sell it on Ebay. So when Zoe came back to the table, Lazy made up some sob story (it was funny) in order to entice Zoe to "autograph" the Coke can. She laughed but did it....I then decided we needed a certificate of authenticity, so Lazy wrote up some blurb about the fact that Zoe did actually drink this Coke and then we asked Zoe to sign that. She did...then she came back and gave us a grin and asked what had she just signed...we showed her the certificate (which was written on the back of one of the Coates' made up bookmarks that the booth people had made) and she just busted out laughing.

She then told Lazy and I that we A. Had too much time on our hands and B. We were having WAAYYYY to much fun...I agree with that, and her playing along with is made it even more fun. Zoe then stated she'd be interested to know what the final price would be if we did sell it on Ebay. We laughed, and told her we weren't gonna sell it, it was just done for fun.....

We also had Karri do the same thing with her water bottle, however, Karri didn't even open hers, but she signed it and a certificate saying she appreciated us bringing it to her!
